{Review} The November Period Box

The November Period box review is definitely girlie, you’ve been warned.  I started having periods when I was in high school 12 years ago and at that time I had no clue what was happening to mm. I was super freaked with my first that I hid it from everyone. The first period was just drops of blog here and there so made me think I had hurt my butt somehow but when the second one started I reconsidered my stance. I changed clothes every ten minutes (I had no clue how to stop the period) until I finally gave…

12 Months of Happiness – 1 of 12

Happy new year and welcome to 12 months of happiness, last month (December 2015) <– Bye Bye I introduced this new series, where the idea had come from and what I would be sharing monthly. Just to recap, each month I will be sharing the happiness I experienced in the last ended month blogging and otherwise. December as many people know is always a busy month regardless of what you do for a living. I had so many things to get done before the 15th and so little time to do it. Blogging wise December for A July Dreamer was…

BON VOYAGE TWENTY FIFTEEN

I am still in a daze as I can not believe its been a year already since the last time I shared a BON VOYAGE post. Those who read this blog will know that 2014 did not start out in the best possible of ways but let me tell you that 2015 made up for it and more. I am sitting here in my apartment reflecting on what has happened in the last 12 months and I can not believe half of the things I have experienced, seen, loved, eaten and touched. I think it is important to always take sometime…

A day at Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland

Last weekend my sister and I went to visit the Christmas winter wonderland at Hyde park in London. Neither of us have ever been there before so we had no expectations whatsoever. She lives an hour from me and I live 1 hour from London. We planned our day, she had plans in the evening so our visit to the winter wonderland was kept short but regardless we had fun.    We arrived at the park around 12:45, there was an ANTI-ISIS protest opposite Hyde park and to be honest we were freaked as we did not know about this…

12 Months of Happiness ~ 12 for 12

Hi there and welcome to a new series on The Myrabev Life, though this series is new on this site it is a monthly occurrence on simply sinova and you can check out her posts HERE. After spending the last few months reading her 12 months of happiness series, I decided that I too would start this series next year but then I thought there is nothing better than doing it in the present for I am not guaranteed the future. There are so many things that I am thankful for so many things that it would take a while…

Happy 2nd blogging anniversary

How is it that I am already celebrating The Myrabev Life 2nd blogging anniversary? Even as I type this I can not believe how fast this blogaversary has come round. I think mostly because I am not as active on this blog as I am on A July Dreamer. I have hardly posted anything this month and last month was no better, I used to enjoy blogging on both blogs but now I hardly have the time to think about it before the day is over by the time I realise it another day has gone that I won’t get…

Personal Confession: I get jealous am HUMAN

Last week I was having a chat with cousin about life in general and I decided to confess my jealousy to her, I told her ‘I am very jealous of your life, you may not be rich but you have something that I can only dream and pray the Lord has it in my future’ and she asked me what that was and I simply answered ‘A loving husband and kids‘. I do not know why but nearing 30 has kind of put me on a new found fear that I never gave time or day for. I have mentioned…

Personal Confessions ~ Finding the good in goodbye

*** The first time I heard Beyonce sing ‘Thank God I found the good in goodbye’ I didn’t really get it until I sat down and thought about it and what that meant to me. There are so many things in this life that we always wanted to hold onto and some of it is not even good for us but we are so scared of saying goodbye we decide it’s better to have or keep that than to say goodbye. Why? Because it is what we know, it is comfortable and at least for the time being we know…

For this week’s Top 5 Friday I will be sharing what has happened and what will be happening, so without further adieu. Hen Do – Tomorrow we are heading to Village St David’s Resort near…

Personal Confessions ~ Actions speak louder than words

When are are born and start to grow we live by the words of our guardians, our guardian’s word is mightier than king Arthur’s sword. As a child we have short attention span so when we asked our guardian for something and they said they would do it then they do not we were hurt and confused but then before the day ends we had forgotten or moved on to the next thing. This is the life of a kid and I honestly want to say I miss this time, not caring much about the hurt and the pain but…
