Last week I shared with you my first box which was the November Period Box, I became aware of this type of service being offered in the UK via another blogger whilst perusing the lands of Bloglovin.
Since I did not get a chance to explain it better in my last post here is another try of it. The period box is a UK service that brings the convenience of always having your period necessities at the right time every month.
With every box you will get a selection of premium teas, chocolates from artisan manufacturers and high-end beauty samples. You will also receive a unique design gift or a beautiful art print by our featured artist of the month. – The Period Box
The beauty about the period box is that you can mix & match the box to your liking, you can either have all pads, all tampons or you can mix and have half of each but additional survival items can be added.
I honestly believe someone who has just started their period this is the perfect box for them, look at the contents that can be found in the starter kit:
EVERY FIRST PERIOD STARTER KIT CONTAINS (£29.95):
- 6x teens day & 4x teens night towels
- 1x teens liners pouch (4 liners)
- 1 pack of regular teens tampons (12 tampons)
- 1 pack of regular teens applicator tampons (10 tampons)
- 1 pack of teens freshen-up wipes
- Book “Girls Only! All About Periods and Growing-Up Stuff”
- A super-cute canvas pouch for supplies
- Surprise gifts & goodies
For those of us who have been having periods for yonkers you get a selection of different items for only £17.95 (P&P). In the December Period Box (2015), I got the following items which is similar to what I got in my November Period Box but different goodies:
Womankind Tea
Maca Bliss Raw choc brownie
Baked veggie crisps roast tomato & spanish paprika
Detox Mud: Pore cleanse mud mask
Refreshing face wash
Christmas scent melts
Pads ~ Day & Night
Pantyliners
As I mentioned in the November Period Box this is a monthly subscription service but you can also get it for a friend as a one time gift (£24.95) or as a starter kit for any teenager (£29.95) or for yourself on a monthly basis (£17.95).
What do you think of the contents of my December Period Box?
