{24 Days} Day #11 ~ 11 Months Ago

When I started this blog off my main blog A July Dreamer, I had an idea of exactly what I wanted to share on this blog. I wanted this blog to be more about my Personal Confessions to connect and maybe help others out there and also I wanted to share some of my insights on Relationships be it long distance or otherwise. I also wanted to share my journey towards being healthy and share some of the (self) Motivation that I have to achieve certain health goals in my life. Have I stuck to that original plan? maybe! maybe…

{24 Days) Day #7 Lessons Learned ~ Once bitten twice shy

When I started blogging I had so many ideas of what I wanted to call my blog, as months went on found myself in need of a new name because I did not feel the name I had for my blog fit who I was (am) at the time and/or what I wanted to portray. My main blog AJD was originally called ‘Myrabev’s world’ this quickly changed to ‘Myrabev against the world’ then changed to ‘purely-by-accident’ (I am sure I have skipped a couple of names in there). I stayed with PBA for almost 9 months before I decided to…

{24 Days} Day #4 ~ How to promote your blog

Over the last couple of months I have learnt the art of promoting my blog, I am not saying I have perfected it or even know how to do it better I am saying for ‘me’ I have learnt what seems to be working for me. I do not have 2k or even 10k views a day I have 200 to 500 and for me this is HUGE to some this is peanuts which is fine by me ‘each to their own’. I never thought my blog would be where it is now in a million years, I had hoped…

{24 Days} Day #1 ~ What have I learned

Happy 1st November, I can not believe that in less than 10 weeks time it will be christmas. Let us give that 10 minutes to sink in, yes 10 weeks and I have not even started buying cards or presents. I know to some people 10 weeks is far far away but for someone who works 9-5 and only has weekends to do anything its not much. Ok now that it has sunk in lets get back to today’s post. Friday #lunch I took it another level lol now I added fried pork pieces to wait for it| jacket potato…

Handy items to always have around

Disclosure: This post contains affiliate links provided by Postpresso. I have always been one of those people who always assesses the situation by worst case scenario and this has always saved me right. But there are times when even though I am aware of the worst case scenario I don’t always act on that I mean if I continued to always do first case scenario I wouldn’t really live my life I would be too scared but the following items I think are always very handy to have in the “just in case” situations. Coach – Phoebe Shoulder Bag Purse…

Top 5 tips ~ new uni students

I remember my first day at uni like it was yesterday; I met one of my now best friend and so many amazing friends who I am still friends with today. When I started at university of Hertfordshire we were kept so busy that some of us had to receive a message on the notice board to say: “…Call your mother…she is worried” Though embarrassing we had a very good laugh about it. If there a few things that I could share with new or prospective students its: ·         Best friend or not never ever share your work – I…

Week 42: Personal Confessions ~ Don’t compare

Hi there and welcome to another round of my personal confessions. Today’s confession is based on my current thoughts and what I am trying to get rid of in my thought process but as you may well know it’s not easy. Last night I decided to check out a few close friends and some long time friends as well as family friends. In the process of doing that I found myself comparing my self to all these people and not once did I think I was better than them by circumstance or by position I felt really lacking in so…

Week 41 Personal Confessions ~ I am only HUMAN

(Source) Hi there and welcome to my personal confessions, my personal confessions are that ‘personal’ and I find it quite therapeutic to have everything off my chest. Some people might call it ‘airing my dirty laundry’ and that’s ok by me so long as I don’t suffocate in secret am good because you know these days people who hide it all ends up doing something shocking to say the least but I will not dwell on that. I am one person who can smile at you whilst I am dying inside but you will never know because I choose happiness…

Quarter Reflection

As we approach the final leg of quarter 3 (Q3) I thought I reflect on this ending quarter. So much had happened and yet I feel that I have little to show for it apart from a bad hair day as I have hair loss problems these days (e’ day) and pieces of my (scattered) and rarely seen self respect. When July started I had made a decision to start making goals which I mostly achieved. I had made decisions in other parts of my life too but disappointed to say I didn’t stick to them. The decisions I didn’t…

Sunday Currently

Hi there! It’s been a while since I wrote a “currently” post and I thought there is no better time than the present. So here goes nothing. Reading: ‘Vegetarian Weight loss‘ & ‘Vegetarian (15) recipes’ by Jonathan Vine, you might remember I reviewed a book by Jonathan “The green smoothie“. I am really enjoying my book reads, every week I read a new book and been luck and very honored to be asked by authors to read and review their work so it’s been great plus before this month ends I would have read/reviewed five books as I said I…
