{Book Review} Children’s Adventures by Tali Carmi

Terry Treetop is a young boy who goes camping with his family, his so excited that he brought his binoculars with him so he can see the beautiful blue sea and the beautiful big and tall trees. Terry was looking through his binocular when he saw something on the ground that caught his eye. He walked to it and found it was an egg, he didn’t know who it belonged to so he went on a little adventure to search for the owner of the egg. He met Sandy the turtle, Ally the alligator, Fergi the frog and Betty the Hen. He asked them all if they have lost an egg and they all said no; Sandy hides hers in the hole near the water, ally hides in special place and carry’s the little gators into the water using her mouth, Fergi hides them under water and Betty sits on hers to keep warm. Terry was sad that he didn’t find the owner of the egg but then he looked up used is binoculars and saw up in the tree and wondered if the that’s where the egg fell from, he so excited he took the egg back and waited for the owner but they owner didn’t come he almost fell asleep when he heard a little twit and the egg had hatched, he was glad and asked the egg to tweet again so the mother could hear. The little bird twit and the mother came flying back, the mother was so happy that he lost egg had been found safe and had hatched.

This book is super cute and I loved how the author named the different animals and explained how each stores there eggs. The pictures helped make the explaining easier and fun for the kids, I would recommend this book to all my friends with kids. This book teaches the child about different animals and how did they live, it was an enjoyable little book to read. If you read my previous review of Tali’s book “where is my home” you will notice that the little boy in that book is also called Terry and the description of the boy is the same, I pointed this out because I think it’s important if you have a series like the one Tali has to continue with the same child and show the children the different adventures that Terry does.

Abigail is a young girl staying with her grandparents for Christmas because her parents are away on a business trip. Whilst with her grandparents she stumbles upon a beautiful colorful bike and a book which says the bike is magical and all you have to say is “Take me there, let me see, show me where I want to be”. Just like all little curious children Abigail said the words and found herself flying over the amazon jungle, she was so happy and excited. On her adventures she met a Toucan, baby jaguar, monkeys and an Indian boy called Nuka, Nuka invited Abigail to his village and they went on her magic bike. Abigail then went back home after playing with Nuka, and when her grandparents asked where she was she told them but her grandmother didn’t believe her. Her scientist granddad did because he was an inventor and he just winked at Abigail and she was happy.

This is a really beautiful book, I like how the author takes the reader on an adventure and I think for kids it opens up there imagination and teaches them about making friends. I like the use of colour and the pictures, it helps the child (or reader) follow the story and see what Abigail sees.
I love the fact the books do not take longer than 5-6 minutes to read, there are interactive and colorful and makes the children curious and want to be adventurous. If you loved these books please check them out on amazon HERE and HERE.
