12 MONTHS OF HAPPINESS – 11 OF 12, I see you’ve noticed that I skipped 6-10 for no apparent reason. I have confessed before on A July Dreamer, I am not good at keeping up with monthly features. I do love the idea of sharing small joins which make up the 12 months of happiness. But sometimes it’s nice to let them accumulate before you share anything with the world.

November is my 3rd blogaversary month for this blog, I hardly blog here so it seems redundant to celebrate but that’s me for you. I have thought many times about calling it a day with this blog but I don’t. I have an incling that in the future it will be just as busy as A July Dreamer. Not one to stay in the clouds for too long, I have decided for this blog, I will blog when I feel like it.

The last time I shared a 12 MONTHS OF HAPPINESS was month 5 where I talked about my April travels. Readers of A July Dreamer will know I have now COMPLETED the #take12trips travel challenge which I started December 2015. I could be more happy to share this news with my readers here, as this was a big part of my life. Traveling was something I always wanted to do but debt and other issues always stopped me. To have visited 13+ countries with over 15+ cities definintely made my year, I am excited about 2017.

During 12 MONTHS OF HAPPINESS – 11 of 12, I have experienced so much that I am still processing the events. As an insomniac, I am up earlier than I would like so to receive a Leesa Mattress it was out of this world experience. Like icing on a cake, another company reached out and asked me to choose any pair of boots I wanted.

Just when I was about to come down from this climax of joy, more collaborations came through the door. More boots, clothes and other items, I am not bragging but just thankful and in shock. Yes bloggers get ‘free’ stuff but it’s not free by any stretch of the word. We work hard and it took me over 3 years to get to where I am now and I am thankful for that.

So much has happened over the last 6 months, I have traveled more, matured even more and still growing. Every day something new happens and we learn something about the world and about ourselves.

I like the idea of taking the time each month to reflect on what has brought joy or happiness but I can also understand why it doesn’t always get blogged about. Life just get too busy sometimes.
