12 Months of Happiness – 4 of 12

Hello there April, it’s been a while, nice to see you as always. I can not believe I am sharing my 12 months of happiness 4 of 12. Some of you might remember when I introduced this theme to my blog, you should check out month 1, month 2 and month 3 of 12 months of happiness. This was not my original idea which I explained in my very first post in December 2015 and reasons why I chose to start it then instead of waiting for January 2016. You might have noticed my latest post Month 3 of 12 I shared a different format to what I started with, this is just because I didn’t feel I had enough content to share on ‘blog wise’ and only had ‘other wise’ content.

Anyway enough of the mumbling, here is what made my 12 months of happiness 4 of 12.

12 months of happiness

12 Months of Happiness 4 of 12

March was an incredible month, which I chose to take certain steps for my betterment.

Travel: Some of you might know that I am doing the #take12trips travel challenge, I joined this challenge last year December 2015. Each month I travel abroad (my choice not the requirement of the challenge) for a weekend or so and explore a new and foreign land. Last month I was able to visit a good friend of mine who is training to be a doctor in Warsaw Poland, it was an experience of a life time and you can read more about it here.

Easter: For some reason, the people who schedule these holidays kind of screwed me over by having Easter in March instead of the norm April. With that being said, I had a blast with my parents for the entire Easter weekend as I had not seen them since Christmas day when MOH and I went to church and saw them there. Can you believe I just gave my parents their Christmas presents over the Easter weekend? Talk about being late to the party.

Me time: Because of the Easter break, there was only one weekend that I could call my own and the remainder weekend I spent with MOH and we had a love Date night where I got to dress up (or was it down) a little and it was lovely.date night

Friends: I also decided to use the one me time weekend to see a good friend whom I hadn’t seen since some time last year. It was a blast just catching up on current life happenings and plans for the future. Since we were in London and though the weather was not really favourable we were still able to grab some frozen yogurt ice creams which was nice.

This is what has made my 12 months of happiness 4 of 12, I am in Korea at the end of this month and I can not wait share what I get up to with my friend. I am so excited to see her again and enjoy some Korean BBQ, kimchi and Soju (don’t judge 🙂 ).

You can keep up with me on my instagram accounts: A July Dreamer (mostly travel) and Myrabev Life (everything else with touch of travel)
